Choose a compatible light or dark foam to help minimise visible gaps around the stitching.

How to use it
- Choose a foam-compatible design and suitable fabric. Use the backing required by your fabric and embroidery.
- Position the foam over the fabric at the stage specified by the design and stitch through it.
- Carefully remove the excess foam around the stitched area. Follow the design and product directions for finishing and care.
Puffy is a raised-effect material, not a replacement for embroidery backing. Ordinary flat-embroidery designs may leave foam exposed; use a design specifically prepared for 3D foam.
Good to know
Will any embroidery design work?
No. The stitch structure and coverage need to suit foam embroidery. Start with a design created for this technique and make a test sample.
Does the foam dissolve afterwards?
No. The foam beneath the stitches remains to create the raised effect. Only the excess around the embroidery is removed.
