Adjustable presser-foot pressure
Presser-foot pressure controls how firmly the project is held against the feed dogs.
Reduce pressure for delicate, stretch or easily distorted materials. Increase pressure where firmer contact is needed through stable or layered fabrics.

Top-loading horizontal rotary bobbin
Place the bobbin into the hook from above and follow the marked threading route beneath the clear cover.
The transparent cover makes it easier to monitor the remaining bobbin thread while sewing.
The automatic-declutch bobbin winding system disconnects the sewing mechanism while the bobbin is being filled.

Important information before purchasing
The eXperience 550 is a domestic computerised sewing and quilting machine. It is not an overlocker, embroidery machine or industrial sewing machine.
It does not include an automatic thread cutter, built-in lettering, USB connectivity or Wi-Fi.
Upper-thread tension and presser-foot pressure are adjusted manually.
It includes an extension table and 1/4-inch foot, but an even-feed foot and free-motion quilting foot are optional accessories.
Select the correct needle, thread, stitch and presser foot for the fabric being sewn.
