The EA253 is an Eagle Special machine in the traditional 132K6-style heavy-duty format. It combines a substantial flat-bed layout and walking-foot feeding with a modern, adjustable servo motor.
The flat bed supports broad panels around the needle, while the high foot lift helps when positioning bulky work. It is a practical format for workshop repairs and new production in suitable heavy materials.
132K6-style describes the design—not the brand. This listing is for the Eagle EA253, not a Singer machine. Check individual parts and accessories for compatibility rather than assuming they are interchangeable.
Heavy thread · visible stitch detail
Give substantial work a defined finish.
With extra-large bobbins and the ability to handle suitable heavy thread, the EA253 is suited to seams where the stitching is part of the finished appearance as well as the construction.
Adjust the stitch length to suit the material and seam. The longer available stitch is useful for decorative straight topstitching where a more open stitch pattern is required.
Choose the whole seam setup
Needle size and point, thread, tension, stitch length and material all work together. A longer stitch or heavier thread does not automatically make every seam stronger.
Test the complete stack, including folded edges and reinforcement, before committing to production.
Set a pace that suits the material.
The energy-saving servo motor does not run continuously while you stop to position the next section.
The 15mm presser-foot lift provides clearance for positioning material. It is not a guaranteed sewing thickness.

Is this a Singer 132K6?
No. It is an Eagle Special EA253. The 132K6-style description identifies the type of heavy-duty design; it does not mean the machine is Singer-branded or that all parts are interchangeable.
