Nylbond is made from pre-stabilised continuous filament Nylon 6.6. Coats combines that high tenacity foundation with proprietary bonding and lubrication to support reliable sewing in demanding production environments.
The bonded plies stay together when cut, helping prevent loose separation at the thread end.
Built for seams that face rubbing, flexing and wear in the finished product.
Controlled stretch and good loop formation support tight, firm and balanced stitches.
A specially formulated lubricant supports smooth movement through the needle eye at production speed.
Ticket 40 steps up to a heavier Tex 70 construction for bolder seam definition and higher strength than Nylbond 60. It is a strong choice when ordinary apparel thread or a finer bonded thread does not provide enough substance, abrasion resistance or seam durability.
Provides the strength and resilience required for hard-working sewn goods.
Helps prevent ply untwisting and flaking while preserving a consistent seam appearance.
Coats states that Nylbond is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX, Product Class I.
Bags, handbags, belts, accessories and other leather constructions requiring strong, clean seams.
Sports, performance, protective, leather and lifestyle footwear applications.
Durable seams for furniture and furnishing work sewn on suitable industrial equipment.
Car seats, interior components and other sewn parts exposed to regular wear.
Suitcases, backpacks, golf bags, travel goods, sports equipment and compatible outdoor products.
Suitable for specific high-abrasion lockstitch operations when the thread, stitch and machine setup are correctly matched.
