ChiaoGoo TWIST X-Flex blue cables combine a multi-strand steel core with a flexible nylon coating. These short Small [S] cables are useful with matching short tips for sleeves, cuffs and other small-circumference knitting.

Measurements are approximate. The complete circular length is the cable plus both needle tips. The very short 5cm cable is not a conventional miniature circular on its own.
Compatibility before diameter
Use tips with the matching Small [S] join. The blue Shorties Small range at 3.5–5mm uses Small joins; MINI Shorties at 2–3.25mm use MINI joins and do not attach directly. Standard 2.75–5mm TWIST tips generally use Small joins, but the tips must also be short enough for the cable to curve comfortably.
Fit and care
Secure the joins using the appropriate tightening key and, if helpful, a rubber gripper. Check them as you knit. X-Flex cables have low coil memory but are not kink-proof: avoid pinching, folding or sharply bending them. Keep longer tips for suitably longer cable setups.
What you receive
Your selected cable pack only. The 5cm option contains three cables; each 13cm, 15cm or 20cm option contains one. Tips, cable connectors and other accessories are sold separately.

Can I use 13cm tips on these short cables?
Choose a longer cable for 13cm tips. A short cable needs room to curve between the tips without being forced.
Do these cables swivel?
No. X-Flex describes cable flexibility. For rotating joins, choose a compatible SWIV360 cable or suitable SWIV adapters.
