Choose a tip combination
Two 8cm tips
More length to hold in each hand. Pair with the longer cable in the pack for the larger circular combination.
One of each length
A differential setup lets you hold a longer working tip in one hand and a shorter tip in the other. Use a cable suitable for both tips.
Use the shorter cable with the shorter tips only. ChiaoGoo warns that the wrong short-cable combination can place excessive strain on the join. Finished circular length includes both tips.
Compatible additions
MINI [M] sizes here are 2.00–3.25mm. Small [S] sizes are 3.50–5.00mm. These joins are different and do not attach directly to each other. For more sizes in one kit, compare the MINI Shorties set and Small Shorties set.
Questions before you choose
Are the two pairs different needle diameters?
No. You receive one diameter in two tip lengths: a pair of 5cm tips and a pair of 8cm tips.
Are cables included?
Yes, two matching short cables are included. Use the shorter cable with the shorter tips only.
Can I use these for a whole sock?
They suit portions that fit the assembled circular. You may still need another method for a heel, toe or other very small section.
Why do the cable colours differ?
The MINI sizes use red cables, while the Small sizes use blue X-Flex cables. Select the join to match the diameter of your tips.
