When to choose 40cm
A 40cm circular is useful when the knitting comfortably fits around the needle. It is too short for a conventional magic loop setup. For the final decreases of a hat, change to double-pointed needles or an appropriate longer circular and technique.
What you receive
One ChiaoGoo RED Lace fixed circular needle in your selected diameter. The 40cm measurement includes both needle tips and the cable. The tips are permanently attached; interchangeable tips and replacement cables cannot be fitted.
Care for your needles
Store in a loose curve and protect the points in your project bag. Avoid pinching the cable in a zip, bending it sharply or pulling on the joins. Wipe the tips with a soft, dry cloth after use.

Is the length just the cable?
No. 40cm is the total length from one needle point to the other, including both tips.
Can I use these for plain knitting?
Yes. Lace refers to the tapered point; these needles also suit stocking stitch, rib, cables and other everyday knitting.
Do the tips unscrew?
No. This is a fixed circular, supplied as one complete needle.
