Where this length works best
Use the 23cm circular for suitable sock cuffs, mittens and narrow sleeves. The work must fit around the needle without being stretched. When decreases make the round too small, change to DPNs or another suitable method.
The 23cm measurement includes both tips and the cable. It is not a 23cm cable, and the tips cannot be detached.

No single circular length fits every stitch count. Very small rounds or the final decreases may need double-pointed needles, magic loop or another appropriate method.
