Self-levelling Zigzag Foot J
When the front of a standard presser foot reaches a thick seam, the foot can tilt backwards and lose firm contact with the feed dogs.
The levelling button on the included Zigzag Foot J temporarily holds the foot level while the machine begins crossing the bulky section.
Release the button once the complete foot is supported by the thicker material.

Press the reinforcement button to secure the beginning or end of a seam.
Depending on the selected stitch, the machine sews either reverse stitches or compact locking stitches in place.

Needle up and down control
Set the needle to stop in the fabric when sewing stops.
This allows the project to be turned around the needle without losing the exact stitch position.

Follow the marked upper-thread route and operate the threading lever to guide thread through the needle eye.

Place the button into the supplied buttonhole foot and allow the machine to determine the required buttonhole length.
The complete buttonhole is sewn in one continuous operation for consistent sizing.

The Brother TY600C is a domestic computerised sewing machine rather than an industrial heavy-duty machine.
It includes 50 built-in stitches and five automatic one-step buttonhole styles.

The machine has a built-in manual side thread cutter. It does not have an automatic electronic thread-cutting button.
