The finishing detail
that sets garments apart.
Give your buttonholes the attention they deserve with the Brother NEXIO RH-982A electronic eyelet buttonhole machine. Also known as a keyhole buttonholer, it brings programmable control and a refined stitch finish to garment production.
From tailoring to casualwear and denim, the RH-982A range offers configurations for different materials and finishing requirements. Its colour touchscreen makes everyday settings easier to manage.

Quality at the buttonhole
Built for a consistent, professional finish
- Stitch formation: Brother’s looper and needle-guard design helps reduce skipped stitches and thread-tightening defects.
- Simple setup: adjust patterns, sewing speed, stitch length and cycle programmes through the colour LCD touch panel.
- Controlled cutting: an air-cylinder-operated hammer supports cutting across different materials.
- Room and visibility: the 120mm arm pocket and standard LED light help with garment positioning.

Configured around your garments
The RH-982A is available in -00, -01 and -02 subclasses, with different buttonhole-length and lower-thread-trimming arrangements. Confirm your required buttonhole size, fabric and thread finish with Direct Sewing before ordering.
Compressed air is required. Brother specifies 200–230V electrical versions in single- or three-phase configurations. The supplied version and site connection must be checked before installation; do not connect a 200–230V version directly to a 400V three-phase supply.
Contact Direct Sewing to confirm the supplied configuration, table and stand package, air supply, delivery and installation arrangements for your workroom.
