Double cutting
Make different supported opening lengths without changing the cutter for every size. The selected knife and clamp still determine what your setup can produce.
Brother NEXIO HE-800C • Electronic buttonholer
Dedicated industrial buttonhole sewing for garment workrooms that value consistency.
The Brother HE-800C combines electronic pattern control with direct drive to make repeat buttonhole work easier to manage. Keep a specialist finishing operation on its own machine and reproduce the chosen settings across a garment batch.
A straight lockstitch buttonholer—not a button-attaching or eyelet buttonhole machine.

The LCD panel makes it straightforward to select patterns and adjust sewing settings for repeat work.
Pulse-motor feeding and an adjustable powered clamp lift help with positioning, loading and removing the work.

Less finishing after sewing
The HE-800C’s revised trimmer leaves shorter thread tails to reduce the clean-up needed after sewing. Brother’s comparison shows the HE-800C sample on the left.
For a polished garment, check both faces of the sample and the cut opening—not just the appearance of the top stitch.
Brother offers the -2 configuration for woven garments and the -3 for knitted garments. The appropriate version depends on the material and construction; confirm the supplied subclass before ordering for a specific job.
Typical work includes shirts, blouses and uniforms in the woven configuration, or suitable knitwear in the knit configuration. Underlay settings can help stabilise difficult materials, but a trial on the actual fabric and interfacing remains important.
