Battistella Vulcano Heated Vacuum Ironing Table with 5L Boiler & Iron

$2,950.00

Current replacement model: Battistella Vulcano supersedes the former Eurovapor Maxi on this listing.
Heated vacuum table + 5L boiler + EOS iron

One complete station for steam, pressing and a crisper finish.

The Battistella Vulcano brings the heated worktop, vacuum table, stainless boiler and weighted EOS iron together in one fixed pressing station. Steam opens and shapes the fibres; vacuum holds the garment and draws moisture away; the warm worktop helps the result dry and set.

  • 5L stainless boiler vessel with 3.8L useful capacity supports approximately four hours of ironing, depending on steam use.
  • 2.8-bar adjustable steam delivery powers the supplied weighted EOS iron.
  • 600W heated 106 × 40cm worktop creates a purposeful garment-pressing surface.
  • 73W foot-controlled vacuum holds fabric and draws excess steam through the table.
  • Fixed all-in-one design keeps the boiler, iron, vacuum and garment support organised in one station.

Three systems working together

Steam shapes. Vacuum steadies. Heat helps set.

01

Consistent boiler steam

The 1700W boiler delivers adjustable steam through the EOS iron for opening seams, shaping garments and finishing completed work.

02

Fabric-holding vacuum

Foot-controlled extraction draws the garment towards the table and pulls away excess steam and humidity as you press.

03

Warm pressing surface

The 600W heated worktop helps reduce lingering dampness so pressed areas can dry and retain a cleaner finish.

An integrated pressing station

Everything works from one permanent setup

Instead of combining a separate board, loose boiler and iron, Vulcano organises the key pressing functions into a fixed 39kg station. The full unit measures approximately 140 × 41 × 98cm, with a garment support shelf below and iron rest beside the worktop.

Where it earns its place

For garment makers who want pressing ready when they are

Dressmaking

Open seams, set hems and shape constructed sections throughout the sewing process.

Alterations

Move from repair work to professional-looking final presentation at one station.

Sample rooms

Support repeat construction pressing across prototypes and small production runs.

Garment finishing

Use vacuum after steam to help pieces leave the table flatter, drier and ready sooner.

A straightforward working rhythm

Fill, heat, steam, vacuum and set

1

Fill when cold

With the station unplugged, cold and at 0 bar, fill the boiler with distilled water without exceeding its useful capacity.

2

Switch on

Activate the worktop and boiler, then switch on the EOS iron as the system warms.

3

Prime steam

Once pressure is ready, point the iron safely away and release several short steam bursts.

4

Press + extract

Steam through the iron while using the foot pedal to draw moisture through the garment and table.

5

Dry + set

Keep vacuum running briefly after steam so the fabric dries and the pressed shape settles.

Boiler capacity made clear

5L vessel, 3.8L useful working capacity

Published figure What it describes What customers should know
5 litres The physical stainless boiler vessel size. This is not the recommended fill amount.
3.8 litres The useful working water capacity inside the boiler. Leave the required steam space and avoid overfilling.
Approximately 4 hours The manufacturer's published ironing autonomy. Actual time varies with how frequently and heavily steam is used.
2.8 bar The working steam pressure supplied to the EOS iron. Steam output can be adjusted for the pressing task.
Included with Vulcano

A complete all-in-one pressing station

5L

Stainless boiler

5L vessel with 3.8L useful capacity and a dedicated drain.

EOS

Weighted EOS iron

800W steam iron with cork handle and steam control.

600

Heated worktop

106 × 40cm shaped main board with 600W heating.

73

Vacuum extraction

73W vacuum motor activated from the supplied foot pedal.

Cable support + iron rest

Keeps the hot iron and its supply line organised while working.

Garment support shelf

Provides space beneath the worktop for garments and linen.

Optional accessory shown: Battistella's technical sheet classifies the heated vacuum sleeve arm pictured on the station as an accessory available separately; it is not included unless your order specifically states otherwise.

Water care + confident ownership

Use distilled water and flush the boiler weekly

Protect the boiler and steam path

Distilled water helps minimise residue from minerals and treatment chemicals found in tap water.

  • Use distilled water when filling the cold boiler.
  • Never add fragrance, starch, special ironing water or chemical treatments.
  • Drain and flush the boiler once a week.
  • Drain only when the station is cold, unplugged and the pressure gauge reads 0 bar.
  • Wait at least one hour after switching off before draining.

Safe everyday operation

Vulcano is rated at 230V / 50Hz with 3173W total published power. Connect it to a suitable, correctly earthed supply.

  • Avoid multi-boxes and unsuitable extension leads.
  • Never open the boiler cap while the system is hot or pressurised.
  • Never move the station while it is operating, hot or pressurised.
  • Keep the Prontotop cover clean and correctly fitted.
  • Always return the hot iron to its heat-resistant rest.

Frequently asked questions

Battistella Vulcano FAQs

Is this still the Eurovapor Maxi?

No. Battistella Vulcano is the current replacement supplied through this former Eurovapor Maxi listing. The product title, description and specifications should all be updated to Vulcano.

Does Vulcano include the boiler and iron?

Yes. It is supplied with the integrated stainless boiler and an 800W EOS steam iron, along with the heated vacuum table.

Is the boiler capacity 5L or 3.8L?

Both figures describe different things. The boiler vessel is 5L, while the useful working water capacity is 3.8L so the boiler retains the steam space it needs.

How long does one fill last?

Battistella publishes approximately four hours of ironing autonomy. Actual time depends on how frequently and heavily steam is used.

What does the vacuum table do?

Vacuum holds the garment towards the worktop and draws away excess steam and humidity, helping the fabric remain steady and the pressed area dry more quickly.

Is the sleeve arm included?

No, unless your order specifically states otherwise. Battistella classifies the heated vacuum sleeve arm shown in the product image as an optional accessory.

Does Vulcano have a blowing function?

No. This standard configuration provides heated worktop and vacuum extraction. Blowing is a separate Vulcano version.

What water should I use?

Use distilled water to minimise minerals and treatment chemicals entering the boiler. Never add fragrance, starch, ironing additives or other treatments.

How often should the boiler be drained?

Drain and flush it once a week. The system must be cold and unplugged, the pressure gauge must read 0 bar, and at least one hour should have passed since switch-off.

Can I refill the boiler while it is hot?

No. This is a manual-fill boiler. Switch off and unplug the station, allow it to cool fully and confirm the pressure gauge reads 0 bar before opening the boiler cap.

Shape with steam, hold fabric securely and clear moisture at the same dedicated station.
