Janome’s removable AcuFeed Flex system works with the machine’s lower feed dogs to move upper and lower layers together.
This helps reduce creeping, puckering and mismatched layers while sewing quilt sandwiches, checks, stripes, slippery materials and structured projects.
The twin AcuFeed holder and general-purpose AD foot are included. Specialist AcuFeed feet can be added separately.

Faster preparation
Superior Needle Threader 2
Push the threading control down until it stops and guide the thread through the mechanism.
Raise the control slowly and the threader pulls a loop through the eye of the needle.
Janome’s Easy Set Bobbin and bobbin-winding plate with cutter further simplify machine preparation.
Clean finishing at the touch of a button
Programmable automatic thread cutting
Press the thread-cutter button and the machine cuts both the upper and bobbin threads.
The upper thread is drawn towards the underside of the fabric for a clean finish.
Thread cutting can also be programmed into suitable sewing sequences so the machine cuts automatically after completing the locking stitches.
Quick machine conversion
One-touch needle-plate changing
Press the release lever and the needle plate lifts away without screws or tools.
Use the standard 9mm plate for the full stitch library or fit the included straight-stitch plate for piecing, fine fabrics and accurate straight sewing.
The machine recognises the installed plate and helps prevent incompatible wide stitches from being selected.

The Skyline S6 Anniversary Edition is a sewing and quilting machine. It does not perform machine embroidery.
It does not have automatic pivoting, an electronic presser-foot lift button, automatic foot-pressure control, tapering, Variable Zigzag or dedicated ruler-work mode.
The S6AE is not compatible with Janome’s HP Professional Grade plate and foot system or A.S.R. Accurate Stitch Regulator.
It does not have upper-thread or optical bobbin-thread sensors.
