Bring light and 1.75× magnification to the floor, table or task in front of you.

  • Three configurations cover floor magnification, table magnification and non-magnifying task light.
  • Three measured brightness levels deliver 5,500, 3,500 or 1,500 lux at 15cm.
  • 6,000K daylight LEDs with 95+ CRI help reveal fine detail and subtle colour differences.

One lamp, three useful configurations

Set it up around your chair, table or current task

01

Floor magnifier

Add the extension section to bring illuminated magnification beside an armchair, sewing chair or freestanding work position.

02

Table magnifier

Use the shorter configuration and sturdy base directly on a desk or table when the work is closer at hand.

03

Task lamp

Fit the magnetic cover over the lens when magnification is not required and continue using the bright LED head as a work light.

A clear view without a bulky ring around it

The semi-rimless lens keeps more of your work visible

The 13cm acrylic lens makes objects appear 75% larger than normal. Its semi-rimless shape leaves the front of the viewing area open, while the 6,000K LED light surrounds the lens to illuminate the detail beneath it. The flexible neck and Easy Twist head let you refine the viewing angle without moving the project.

3,500 lux

Medium

Protect the lens—and the room around it

A magnifying lens can concentrate direct sunlight, so the magnetic cover is an important part of everyday storage.

  • Fit the magnetic lens cover whenever the magnifier is unattended.
  • Never leave the uncovered lens where direct sunlight can pass through it.
  • Clean the lens gently with a soft microfibre cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, paper towels or harsh solvents on the lens.
  • Keep sharp tools clear of the lens surface.

Move and use it confidently

Magnificent Pro uses a 7W integrated LED system and a stable 3.4kg base assembly.

  • Place the base on a firm, level floor or table.
  • Use the grey grips to reposition the head rather than pulling on the lens rim.
  • Support the stem and base when moving the complete lamp.
  • Keep the cable away from walkways and chair legs.
  • Unplug before cleaning or changing between configurations.

Frequently asked questions

Daylight Magnificent Pro FAQs

What does 1.75× magnification mean?

The 3-dioptre lens makes objects appear approximately 75% larger than normal. It is designed for comfortable everyday magnification rather than extremely high enlargement.

How large is the viewing lens?

The semi-rimless lens measures 13cm across, providing a generous viewing area while leaving the front edge less obstructed by a heavy frame.

What are the three configurations?

Magnificent Pro can be assembled as a floor magnifier, a shorter table magnifier, or a non-magnifying task lamp by fitting the magnetic cover over the lens.

Does 3-in-1 mean it includes a clamp?

No. The three functions are floor magnifier, table magnifier and task lamp. This A25090 model uses its supplied round base rather than a table clamp.

How bright is the lamp?

The three published illuminance levels are 5,500, 3,500 and 1,500 lux, measured 15cm from the lamp. It produces up to 600 lumens on the highest setting.

Can the colour temperature be changed?

No. Magnificent Pro uses a fixed 6,000K daylight colour temperature with three brightness levels.

Is it suitable for colour matching?

Yes. Its LEDs have a colour rendering index above 95, supporting accurate comparison of fabric, thread, paint and material colours.

Why does the lens need a cover?

The magnetic cover protects the lens from dust and scratches, creates the task-lamp configuration and prevents the lens from concentrating direct sunlight while unattended.

Can I use the same base for the floor and table setups?

Yes. The supplied round base supports both configurations; the floor setup adds the extension section between the base and flexible lamp assembly.

How should I move the magnifying head?

Use the contrasting grey grips and support the flexible arm while positioning. Avoid pulling or twisting the lamp by the lens rim.

Magnify the detail. Match the colour. Move the lamp to the task.

Give close work the clear, hands-free view it deserves.

Use it beside your chair, on the table or as a bright task lamp when magnification is not needed.
