Made for heavier fabric work
Two stitch lines. One productive pass.
A five-thread safety stitch uses a separate chainstitch to join the fabric, alongside an overedge stitch that finishes the cut edge. It is a useful construction seam for suitable medium-to-heavy materials, bringing joining and edge finishing together without a separate overlocking pass.
Needle positioning
The needle positioner helps you stop consistently as you guide the next section of the seam into place.
Differential feed
Adjust the relative feeding action to suit your fabric and help manage unwanted stretching or gathering along the seam.
Built-in LED lighting
Illumination at the sewing area makes it easier to see the fabric edge, needle area and stitch formation while you work.
