Choose your yarn shade
Sirdar Snuggly Cashmere Merino Silk DK 50g blends 75% extra fine merino wool, 20% silk and 5% cashmere. Choose one shade for your selected project.
The DK and 4 ply versions use different needle sizes and have different lengths per ball. These quantities apply to the specified DK yarn only.
Colours can look different on screen. The photographed shade may not be among those currently listed. Order your full quantity together and contact us for help checking dye lots.

Age ranges are a guide. Check the baby’s measurements against the leaflet before choosing a size; finished garment measurements and fit are given in the pattern.
Each selection supplies one garment in one shade.
Follow the published pattern tension. Changing the length or fit may require extra yarn.
Needles & finishing tools
Both designs use 3.25mm and 4mm straight knitting needles. The slipover also requires a stitch holder.
Choose KnitPro Zing or Symfonie straight needles, or use your own matching needles.
No interchangeable cable is required for the straight-needle package.
Cardigan: four buttons for 0–3, 3–6 and 6–9 months; five for 9–12, 12–18 and 18–24 months. Buttons are not included; follow the leaflet for their diameter. Slipover: a stitch holder is required, with no buttons.
Before you start
Make a tension sample in the stitch specified in the leaflet and adjust your needle size if needed. Project tension can differ from the yarn-label tension.
A tapestry needle and scissors are useful for finishing and are not automatically added. Follow the yarn label for washing and care.

Pattern only: one printed Sirdar 5387 knitting pattern leaflet, with no yarn or tools.
Build my project: the displayed number of 50g balls in your chosen shade, plus only the pattern and tools you select. Untick the pattern if you already own it. Each item and its price appears separately in the cart.
