Match the needle, thread, feed settings and sewing speed to your fabric. Presser-foot lift is a clearance measurement, not a guaranteed sewing thickness.
A joining seam and a tidy raw edge.
Use the five-thread safety stitch for suitable garment seams, alterations, pillowcases and bed linen. This is an industrial overlocker, not a coverstitch machine for the parallel-stitched stretch hems found on many T-shirts. If you work with very stretchy fabrics or bulky materials, ask us which stitch and machine best suit the job.
