      Project sizing & yarn quantities

Hat circumference describes the finished hat, not the head measurement. Tide has one published size.

Project / body size Finished measurement Yarn required
Heydon hat · flat Heydon · approx. 38cm finished hat circumference; adult woman’s size Heydon shade: 1 ball
Heydon hat · in the round Heydon · approx. 38cm finished hat circumference; adult woman’s size Heydon shade: 1 ball
Tide bib Tide · 29.5cm wide × 38cm long Tide shade: 3 balls

Each addition supplies one selected project. For paired designs, add each separately and include the leaflet only once. Extra length or alterations may require more yarn.

Heydon in the round: 4mm double-pointed needles. An optional pompom is not included. No cables are required.

Tide: 5mm straight needles for the main pattern and 5.5mm straight needles for the neckband. Tide requires stitch holders. No cables are required.

A tapestry needle, measuring tape and scissors are useful finishing tools; these are not automatically added.

      What you will receive

Pattern only: one MIP2 Heydon & Tide knitting pattern leaflet. Yarn and tools are not included.

Build my project: yarn for the selected project, version and size, plus the pattern and tools you select. Untick the pattern if you already own it. Your cart records your selection.

      Before you begin

Can I use my own tools or pattern?

Yes. Select only what you need. Check needle diameters and circular lengths before choosing own tools or cables. Own cables removes the cables and any connector from the package, while retaining the needle tips.

Can I make more than one project?

Add one project at a time, then return to choose the next. Include the leaflet once and untick it for later additions. Buy the full yarn quantity for each project.
