Your yarn choices
MODE at Rowan Chunky Wool 100g
Photographed shades — Southwold: Palm 018. Salle: Palm 018 or Mist 012.
Each project uses one shade. The snood uses three 100g balls; Southwold uses 11–21 balls depending on size. The leaflet includes both designs, but each addition supplies one selected project.
Order the full amount of each shade together; contact us for help checking dye lots.
Project sizing & yarn quantities
Choose your body chest measurement and compare it with the finished garment chest. These are different measurements. Salle is a single project option; check the purchased pattern for its finished measurements and fit.

All quantities are 100g balls of Chunky Wool. Each addition supplies one selected design. To make both, add each project separately and include the pattern only once. Extra length or alterations may require more yarn.
Needles & finishing tools
Southwold: 7mm straight needles plus a 7mm circular needle at least 100cm long for the front bands. A stitch holder and stitch marker are required.
Salle snood: 7mm circular needles, 40cm long, plus 9mm circular needles in both 60cm and 80cm lengths. The package uses Symfonie 2 short 7mm tips and regular Symfonie 9mm tips; transfer the 9mm tips between the 60cm and 80cm cables. A stitch marker is required for Salle.
For Salle, three cables are supplied: 40cm for short tips, plus 60cm and 80cm for regular tips. Transfer the same 9mm tips between the two longer cables. End caps and keys are included. Select own cables only if you already have every required compatible length. Southwold instead includes one 100cm setup with regular 7mm tips.
A tapestry needle, measuring tape and scissors are useful finishing tools; these are not automatically added.
Tension & care
Southwold: 14 stitches × 20 rows to 10cm over broken rib using 7mm needles.
Salle: 10 stitches × 14 rounds to 10cm over stocking stitch using 9mm needles.
Make a tension square and adjust your needle size if needed. Follow the yarn label for care instructions.

Can I use my own tools or pattern?
Yes. Select only what you need. Check needle sizes and any required circular lengths before choosing own tools or cables.
Can I make more than one?
Add one project at a time, then return and change your selection. Include the leaflet once and untick it for later additions. Buy the full yarn quantity for each project.
