Important yarn information

Sorine is knitted using two strands of MODE at Rowan Alpaca Haze held together throughout. The ball quantities below already allow for both strands.

Finished measurements and yarn quantities

Choose your size using the “to fit chest” measurement. The finished chest measurement shows the actual circumference of the completed vest and includes the intended ease.

Quantities are based on 25g balls of MODE at Rowan Alpaca Haze with two strands held together. Purchase all the yarn required at the same time where possible to help ensure a consistent dye lot.

Needles and additional requirements

• One pair of 3.5mm knitting needles
• 3.5mm circular knitting needle, 40cm long, for the neckband and armbands
• 3.5mm circular needle, 80cm long, for sizes 71–97cm
• 3.5mm circular needle, 120cm long, for sizes 102–127cm

Tension

20 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm over the rib pattern using 3.5mm needles and two strands of Alpaca Haze held together.

Always knit and block a tension swatch before beginning. The textured rib can change after blocking, so checking the finished tension is important for achieving the correct size.
