Your yarn choices
- Yarn A · Alpaca Wool: MODE at Rowan Alpaca Wool 50g; shown in Olive 018 or Dove 014.
- Yarn B · Alpaca Haze: MODE at Rowan Alpaca Haze 25g; shown in Khaki 018 or Jasmine 014.
Hold one strand of Alpaca Wool and one strand of Alpaca Haze together. The listed ball quantities already cover both strands; do not multiply them again.

The builder uses these Rowan ball quantities without multiplying them for strands held together. Extra length or other alterations may need more yarn.
Needles & finishing tools
4mm straight needles, 3.75mm and 4mm circular needles, and a set of 3.75mm double-pointed needles. Both packages include Symfonie double-pointed needles. Rowan specifies maximum circular lengths of 80, 100, 100, 120, 120, 140, 140, 160 and 160cm across the nine sizes. Our two 80cm circulars stay within every size’s maximum; the cable quantities allow both needle sizes to be assembled.
Stitch holders and a stitch marker are required. Add the tools you do not already own.
Two cables making 80cm circular needles with regular 13cm tips are included. Each cable includes end caps and a key. Select own cables only if you have both compatible cables.
A tapestry needle, measuring tape and scissors are useful finishing tools; these are not automatically added.
Tension & care
22 stitches × 32 rows or rounds to 10cm over stocking stitch using 4mm needles and one strand of each yarn held together.
Make a tension square and adjust your needle size if needed. Follow the yarn labels for care instructions.
What you will receive
Pattern only: one MIP17 Salthouse knitting pattern. Yarn and tools are not included.
Build my project: the selected yarn quantities, plus the pattern and tools you select. Untick the pattern if you already own it. Cart details retain each yarn or colour role.
Review your summary before adding the project. Unselected tools and the finished garment are not included.

Can I use my own tools or pattern?
Yes. Select only the tools you need and untick the pattern if you already own it. If a cable option is shown, choose the ownership option only if you have the compatible length listed.
Why are there two yarn selections?
This design uses two different yarns held together. Choose one shade in each yarn; both are required. Their ball weights and quantities differ, and they remain separate cart items even if their shade names match.
