Your two colours
MODE at Rowan Alpaca Wool, in 50g balls.
Colour A: shown in French 013.
Colour B: shown in Currant 020.
Choose each shade separately. The colour letters follow Rowan’s pattern and use different quantities. Order the full amount of each shade together; contact us for help checking dye lots.
Choosing the same shade for both roles combines the quantities in your cart and changes the photographed colour contrast.
Find your fit & yarn quantities
Choose by your body chest measurement, then compare the finished garment measurement to judge the fit. Quantities are 50g balls of MODE at Rowan Alpaca Wool.

The builder uses these same Rowan quantities. Extra length or other alterations may need more yarn.
Needles & finishing tools
- 3.75mm straight needles.
- 3.75mm circular needles measuring 100cm for the body once joined.
- 3.75mm circular needles measuring 40cm for the neckband and sleeves.
- Stitch holders.
- Stitch markers.
Each package includes 3.75mm straight needles, 3.75mm regular tips with a 100cm cable, and 3.75mm short tips with a 40cm cable. Check your tension before starting.
Cable lengths are the completed circular length including tips. The 100cm body cable uses 13cm tips; the 40cm neckband and sleeve cable uses short 10cm tips. Both cables, end caps and key are included unless you already own the compatible lengths.
Add the set of three holders and the pack of 30 markers if you need them. A tapestry needle, measuring tape and scissors are useful finishing tools; these are not automatically added.
Tension & care
23 stitches × 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 3.75mm needles.
Make a tension square and adjust your needle size if needed. Follow the yarn label for care instructions.
What you will receive
Pattern only: one MIP66 Romy knitting pattern. Yarn and tools are not included.
Build my project: the selected Colour A and Colour B quantities, plus the pattern and tools you select. Untick the pattern if you already own it. Yarn lines in the cart show the colour role and quantity.
Review the summary before adding your project. Unselected tools and the finished garment are not included.

Can I use my own tools or pattern?
Yes. Select the tools you need and untick the pattern if you already own it. Where cables are offered, use the ownership option only if you have every compatible cable length listed.
Can I change the colours?
Yes. Choose each colour separately and follow the same colour letters in the purchased pattern. Using the same shade for both changes the contrast; the cart combines matching variants while preserving the quantities for each role.
