Your yarn choices
- Colour A: MODE at Rowan Alpaca Wool 50g; shown in Fawn 015.
- Colour B: MODE at Rowan Alpaca Wool 50g; shown in Walnut 016.
- Colour C: MODE at Rowan Alpaca Wool 50g; shown in French 013.
Follow colour roles A, B and C in the purchased pattern. Choose contrasting shades to retain the colourwork effect; repeated shades are combined in the cart.

The builder uses the Rowan ball quantities for each colour role. Extra length or other alterations may need more yarn.
Needles & finishing tools
3.75mm double-pointed needles for the neckband and sleeves, plus 3.75mm circular needles in 60cm, 80cm and 100–120cm lengths for the yoke and body. Our package supplies one pair of regular tips with 60cm, 80cm and 100cm cables; change cables as directed. Both packages include Symfonie double-pointed needles.
Stitch holders and four stitch markers are required. Add the tools you do not already own.
Three compatible cables are included, making 60cm, 80cm and 100cm circular needles with regular 13cm tips. Each includes end caps and a key. Select own cables only if you have all three compatible lengths.
A tapestry needle, measuring tape and scissors are useful finishing tools; these are not automatically added.
Tension & care
23 stitches × 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 3.75mm needles.
Make a tension square and adjust your needle size if needed. Follow the yarn labels for care instructions.
What you will receive
Pattern only: one MIP68 Rhodes knitting pattern. Yarn and tools are not included.
Build my project: the selected yarn quantities, plus the pattern and tools you select. Untick the pattern if you already own it. Cart details retain each yarn or colour role.
Review your summary before adding the project. Unselected tools and the finished garment are not included.
Before you cast on
Can I use my own tools or pattern?
Yes. Select only the tools you need and untick the pattern if you already own it. If a cable option is shown, choose the ownership option only if you have the compatible length listed.
What if I repeat a shade?
Repeating a shade changes the contrast of the Fair Isle design. Matching variants are combined into one cart line, with each colour role and its quantity retained.
