Practical control, everyday versatility
A smoother way to finish your sewing.
From T-shirts and shirts to pillowcases and bed linen, the E5 gives regular sewing and alterations a dedicated industrial overlocking setup. Match the feed, needle and thread to your material, then test the finish on an offcut before starting.
Feed adjustment for fabric thickness
A manual light, medium and heavy setting lets you adapt the feed to the fabric assembly. This is a setting you select to suit the job, rather than automatic fabric detection.
Differential feed
Adjust how the fabric moves through the machine to help reduce unwanted stretching or gathering. Particularly useful when refining the finish on suitable knitted and woven fabrics.
Needle positioning
The needle positioner provides a consistent stopping position between sewing runs, helping you reposition your work with more control.

Your machine comes built up with its table, motor and thread stand, mounted on wheels for easier positioning. The table measures 1.2m long × 0.55m deep, with limited height adjustment.

Specifications refer to the E5-4-M03/333 four-thread model. Choose a sewing speed and setup appropriate to the material; maximum speed is not the right setting for every seam.

This is a four-thread overlocker, not a five-thread safety-stitch or coverstitch machine. For bulky denim seams, upholstery or a particular production application, ask us to check your fabric and seam requirements before choosing.
