MODE at Rowan MIP89 Apollo Beanie & Scarf
Apollo is a cosy two-pattern accessory set designed by Quail Studio. The ribbed beanie is knitted seamlessly in the round from the top down, while the matching wide scarf is worked flat in simple garter stitch with a neat slipped-stitch edging.
Both designs use MODE at Rowan Colourmix Aran / 10 ply, allowing the yarn’s soft, self-colouring effect to create gentle tonal changes without complicated colourwork.

Two coordinating accessories
The Apollo pattern gives you the option of knitting the beanie, the scarf or the complete matching set. The neutral Pebble Greys shade is used for the photographed beanie and one scarf, while a second scarf is shown in the colourful Rainbow shade.

Pattern tension
Beanie: 24 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm in the ribbed pattern using 4mm needles.
Scarf: 17 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm in garter stitch using 5.5mm needles.
Always knit a tension square before beginning. Adjust your needle size if necessary to obtain the stated pattern tension.
