Before you start
- Start with a clean, dry ruler underside, following the ruler maker's care guidance.
- Peel and apply the adhesive grips, choosing positions that leave the ruler evenly supported.
- Test on spare fabric and maintain firm hand pressure while cutting.
Continue to hold the ruler securely while cutting. Grip aids help reduce movement but do not replace safe hand placement or a suitable cutting mat.
