Foot-controller operation
Mechanical speed with direct pedal control
Light pressure on the supplied foot controller provides slower movement for corners, curves and detailed areas.

Front-loading bobbin and removable bobbin case
Remove the accessory box and open the front cover to access the bobbin case beneath the needle plate.

Four-step mechanical buttonhole
Fit the supplied sliding buttonhole foot and mark the required finished length on the fabric.
Move through the four marked selector positions to sew both sides and both bar tacks.
The operator controls the finished length, making the system suitable for garments, cushions, bags and other home-sewing projects.
Convertible free arm
Remove the front accessory box to expose the free arm.
Sleeves, cuffs, trouser hems and other circular areas can then be positioned around the narrower machine bed.
Refit the box to restore the larger flat sewing surface and built-in accessory storage.

Guide lines in millimetres and inches help maintain common seam allowances as the fabric passes beneath the foot.
