Choose the colour for each piece of fabric
A mixed patchwork or garment project may need more than one contrast colour. Use white where a dark guide would be lost, then try blue or pink on lighter pieces. The advantage is having a choice to test, not a promise that every colour will show or wash out identically on every textile.
