The Yellow Shorties extension set brings compact circular knitting to 5.5–8mm needles. Four pairs of 8cm stainless-steel tips connect to three flexible SWIV360 silver cables for sleeves, hats, necklines and quick winter accessories.

The current set uses silver SWIV360 cables, not red TWIST cables. Cable lengths are measured without the 8cm tips.

How many tip pairs are included?
Four pairs of 8cm tips in 5.5, 6, 6.5 and 8mm.
Are 7mm and 7.5mm included?
No. The set jumps from 6.5mm to 8mm.
Are the cables red or silver?
The current Yellow Shorties set includes three silver SWIV360 Large [L] cables.
Which cable lengths are included?
Two 15cm cables and one 20cm cable. There is no 25cm cable in the official 7230-L set.
What circular lengths can I make?
The 15cm cable creates an approximately 30cm circular; the 20cm cable creates an approximately 36cm circular with the included 8cm tips.
Why are there two 15cm cables?
They allow two approximately 30cm setups to remain active, or provide a spare for the set’s most compact length.
Can Large tips connect to MINI or Small cables?
Not directly. Large [L], Small [S] and MINI [M] use different threaded join sizes.
Is this the same as the Red or Blue Shorties packs?
No. It is an extension set with 8cm tips only, a Large [L] join and SWIV360 cables. The Red and Blue packs include both 5cm and 8cm tips.
