Three useful sizes are sold separately: 3.00mm / US 2.5, 7.00mm / US 10.75 and 7.50mm / US 10.875 are not part of the standard 2500-C set. Add them individually if your patterns regularly call for them.
Gauge comes first: yarn suggestions are only a guide. Start with the metric size in your pattern, knit a useful swatch and change needle size if your measured gauge differs.

Easy rule: match S to S and L to L. ChiaoGoo adapters can support selected cross-size combinations, but no adapter is needed for the complete combinations already supplied in this set.

Choose the cable by the finished project circumference
ChiaoGoo measures the cable itself. Once two 13cm tips are attached, the three supplied lengths create these nominal tip-to-tip circular sizes.
Not a 40cm circular set: 13cm tips are too long to form a comfortable 40cm / 16in circular. Choose ChiaoGoo 10cm tips and a compatible short cable for small hats, necklines and sleeves that specifically require 40cm.
