Stitch-forming replacement parts

Compare replacement rotary hooks, shuttle hooks and hook-and-base assemblies for industrial sewing machines in New Zealand. Choose by the original hook reference and the full machine model, including any subclass or seam specification.

Choosing a rotary or shuttle hook

Identify the component. A hook or shuttle unit is different from a bobbin case, bobbin, needle-threader hook or hook-holding screw. Check whether the listing supplies one hook or a complete hook-and-base assembly.

Match the full reference. Compare the markings on the existing hook with the supplied part number. Similar-looking hooks and similar reference endings do not establish interchangeability. Ask for a cross-reference if the numbers differ.

Check the machine version. Plainsewer, walking-foot, zigzag, buttonhole and programmable-machine hooks have different requirements. For Juki AMS and LK references, match the documented model suffix and seam specification as well as the part number.

Have the details ready. Use the machine identification plate, the old part’s markings and clear photos of the hook and its mounting. Confirm the supplied component and fitting requirements before ordering.
