About Salle & Highoak

Your yarn choices
MODE at Rowan Chunky Wool 100g
Photographed shades — Salle: Palm 018 or Mist 012. Highoak: Cappuccino 016.
Each project uses one shade. Salle uses three 100g balls; Highoak uses one. Add the two projects separately if you want both, including the pattern only once.
Order the full amount of each shade together; contact us for help checking dye lots.

All quantities are 100g balls of Chunky Wool. Each addition supplies one selected design. To make both, add each project separately and include the pattern only once. Extra length or alterations may require more yarn.
Needles & finishing tools
Salle snood: 7mm circular needles, 40cm long, plus 9mm circular needles in both 60cm and 80cm lengths. The package uses Symfonie 2 short 7mm tips and regular Symfonie 9mm tips; transfer the 9mm tips between the 60cm and 80cm cables. A stitch marker is required for Salle.
Highoak: one pair of 7mm straight needles. No circular cable or DPNs are required. No additional specialised tool is listed for Highoak. A pompom is optional styling and is not included.
For Salle, three cables are supplied: 40cm for short tips, plus 60cm and 80cm for regular tips. Transfer the same 9mm tips between the two longer cables. End caps and keys are included. Select own cables only if you already have every required compatible length.
A tapestry needle, measuring tape and scissors are useful finishing tools; these are not automatically added.
Tension & care
Salle: 10 stitches × 14 rounds to 10cm over stocking stitch using 9mm needles.
Highoak: 12 stitches × 24 rows to 10cm over garter stitch using 7mm needles.
Make a tension square and adjust your needle size if needed. Follow the yarn label for care instructions.
What you will receive
Pattern only: one MIP20 Salle & Highoak knitting pattern leaflet. Yarn and tools are not included.
Build my project: yarn for the selected project, version and size, plus the pattern and tools you select. Untick the pattern if you already own it. Your cart records your selection.

Can I use my own tools or pattern?
Yes. Select only what you need. Check needle sizes and any required circular lengths before choosing own tools or cables.
Can I make more than one?
Add one project at a time, then return and change your selection. Include the leaflet once and untick it for later additions. Buy the full yarn quantity for each project.
