Choose the right filling
Choose Simply Stuffing for general soft-toy and craft filling. For a fine polyester fibre specifically described by Hobbs as having loft and resilience, compare Hobbs Premium Polyester Fiberfill, also supplied in a 567g bag.

A more even finish, a handful at a time
Gently separate a small amount of fibre, then work it into the furthest corners first. Keep adding small amounts rather than pushing in one tightly compressed lump. Shape the project as you go and leave the closing edge clear for neat stitching.
The amount needed depends on your pattern, the project’s volume and how firmly you want to stuff it. A cushion and a small crocheted toy can use very different quantities, so check the pattern’s filling allowance before ordering.
This filling is hand-washable. Check that the fabric, yarn and embellishments are also suitable for washing, and allow the completed item to dry thoroughly.
