The cable measurement is the cable itself. With both 13cm tips attached, the supplied cables make these nominal tip-to-tip lengths:
35cm cable → 60cm circularFor suitable cowls, garment sections and smaller flat projects.

Need a 40cm circular?
The 13cm tips are too long for a comfortable 40cm setup. Choose the SPIN Small 4" / 10cm set for that shorter circular length.

These bamboo tips work with matching Small [S] SPIN, SWIV360 and TWIST cables, so you can add different cable lengths and styles as your knitting develops.
Match the connection code when buying extras. Large [L] and MINI connections do not fit directly. Use the supplied tightening key to secure each join without forcing it.

What does Small [S] mean?
It identifies the connection size, not the tip length. This set contains 13cm tips in seven diameters from 2.75mm to 5.00mm, all using Small [S] joins.
Can I knit flat as well as in the round?
Yes. Work back and forth in rows as you would with straight needles, or join your stitches for circular knitting. The cable gives wider projects room to spread out.
Can I use TWIST red cables with these tips?
Yes—choose matching ChiaoGoo Small [S] TWIST cables. Additional cables are sold separately.
Does the set include 3.00mm tips?
No. The seven included sizes are 2.75, 3.25, 3.50, 3.75, 4.00, 4.50 and 5.00mm. Check the size list against your favourite patterns.
Can this set make a 40cm circular?
No. Choose the 10cm / 4-inch tip format for a comfortable 40cm circular. This set's supplied cables create nominal 60, 80 and 100cm circulars.
