Bohin White Heat-Erasable Fabric Pen

Bohin’s white heat-erasable fabric pen makes sewing and quilting guides visible on smooth, dark fabrics. Its ballpoint tip is useful for seam references, embroidery placement and patchwork details that would be difficult to see with blue or purple ink.

Bohin heat-erasable fabric ballpoint pen with white barrel and cap removed

Heat removal, not chalk dust

This is a white ink pen: there is no lead to sharpen or powder wheel to refill. The guide is removed by ironing, so it suits projects whose fabric can tolerate heat. For material that cannot be ironed, choose a different marking method rather than increasing the temperature to remove a line.

Product details

  • White fabric-marking ink with a ballpoint tip.
  • For smooth, dark fabric that can safely be ironed.
  • One heat-erasable pen.

Getting the best result

  1. Test a short line and the complete ironing process on an offcut.
  2. Lay the fabric flat and mark the placement or stitching guide lightly.
  3. Finish the work, then iron away the line within the fabric’s safe heat setting.
