Open to people living in New Zealand who meet the age and account requirements of both Instagram and Facebook. Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who must assist with accepting and receiving the prize if they win.

Direct Sewing employees, people involved in running the promotion and their immediate household members are not eligible.

Entries open when Direct Sewing publishes the official Huskylock S15 giveaway post. Each platform’s official post shows its publication time.

Entries close: 3pm NZST on Wednesday 23 September 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be included.

Winner drawn: Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 4pm NZST.

Follow Direct Sewing on both Instagram (@directsewingnz) and Facebook (Direct Sewing); like the official Huskylock S15 giveaway post on either platform; and comment on that same post explaining why you would love a new overlocker.

The comment must be visible to Direct Sewing and remain available for verification at the draw. Direct Sewing may ask the selected entrant to confirm their account names and provide reasonable evidence that the entry conditions were met. Private account settings alone do not invalidate an entry if the required actions can be verified.

Entry is free. No purchase, friend tag or post share is required. Sharing is optional and provides no additional entries or advantage. Comments on this blog, messages and comments on unrelated posts are not entries.

One entry per person in total across Instagram and Facebook. Extra comments, multiple accounts, tagging and sharing do not provide extra chances. If the same person enters more than once, only one valid entry will be included.

Automated, fraudulent, impersonated or deliberately misleading entries may be excluded. Direct Sewing may exclude comments containing unlawful, abusive or infringing content. Only entries meeting the published conditions will be eligible.

There is one prize: one new Husqvarna Viking Huskylock S15 overlocker. One winner will receive the machine. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or another product.

Other items shown for styling or demonstration are not separate prizes. No extra thread, fabric or accessories are promised beyond the machine’s standard supplied contents.

One winner will be selected at random from the combined pool of valid entries at 4pm NZST on Wednesday 23 September 2026. The comment is an entry requirement; it is not judged for writing quality or creativity. Each eligible person in the draw has the same chance of winning.

Direct Sewing will notify the selected entrant within two working days by replying to their entry comment and contacting them from an official Direct Sewing account. If privacy settings prevent a message, the public reply will invite them to contact Direct Sewing through an official account or info@directsewing.co.nz.

The selected entrant has seven calendar days from the first notification attempt to respond and confirm eligibility. If they do not respond, decline the prize or cannot meet the stated conditions, Direct Sewing will randomly draw another eligible entrant within two working days, using the same notification and response process.

The winner’s first name and social handle may be announced after eligibility is verified. For a winner under 18, this will be agreed with their parent or guardian. No payment or bank-card details are needed to claim the prize.

Standard delivery to the winner’s New Zealand address is included. Collection from Direct Sewing’s Henderson showroom can be arranged instead. Direct Sewing will arrange dispatch or collection within 10 working days after the winner has been verified and supplied the necessary delivery details.

Delivery details will be collected privately from the winner or, where applicable, their parent or guardian. Please do not post your address in a public comment.

Direct Sewing will use entry information to administer the giveaway, verify eligibility, contact the winner and arrange the prize. Necessary contact and delivery details may be shared with the delivery provider.

Entering does not subscribe you to email or SMS marketing. Any additional promotional use of your photograph or entry content will require separate permission. Public comments remain visible under the platform’s own settings.
