PATTERN MAKING • WORKROOM ORGANISATION
Keep your pattern sets together and ready to use
This 19mm pattern hole punch makes circular hanging holes in paper sewing patterns and slopers, ready for a pattern hook. Its metal construction, supporting base and hand-operated lever make it a practical tool for organising patterns in a dressmaking studio or garment workroom.
Made for pattern storage
- 19mm round hole: approximately 3/4 inch in diameter, for hanging patterns on a suitable hook.
- Lever operation: position the paper and press the handle to punch.
- Supporting base: use on a firm, level work surface.
- Organised pattern sets: group pieces by garment, style or size for easier retrieval.
How to use
Choose a hanging position away from essential pattern markings and cutting lines. Position the paper, keep fingers clear of the cutting area and press the handle. Label each piece before placing the set on your pattern hook. Test on scrap material first.
Punch or notcher?
This tool makes round hanging holes. For small alignment marks along pattern edges, choose a pattern notcher. Explore our pattern-making tools and rulers for drafting and marking.
